If you cancel 14 days before the event, a $30 cancellation fee will be deducted from the event fee. Unfortunately, if you cancel within 14 days of the event, we cannot issue a refund or credit.

Event fees cannot be transferred to another event. However, you may transfer your registration to another driver by notifying us at least 8 hours prior to the event.

SpeedSF Track Events reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances. -
Events run rain or shine. Driving in wet conditions can significantly improve your car control, precision, and grip management. Many experienced drivers value wet conditions as an opportunity to develop their skills further.

We have transitioned to a fully digital process. A tech inspection form is no longer required to be submitted, and it is now the driver’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle is properly prepared before the event.

Several days prior to each event (typically 3–5 days), you will receive a logistics email that includes:

Drivers who complete all required items may arrive at least 30 minutes before their session start time. Please allow sufficient time for preparation and avoid rushing.
Note: All beginner drivers are required to attend the in-person driver meeting regardless of completion status.

Run groups are based on experience and skill level, not vehicle type. Availability may vary by event.
All groups fall under HPDE (High Performance Driving Education). This is not racing. Safety is our top priority.

The main gate opens between 6:00–7:00 AM depending on the facility. Trucks, SUVs, and vans are not permitted to participate. Please contact us to inquire about exceptions.
Missing the driver meeting (required for beginners) may result in loss of track time or cancellation of registration without refund.
The paddock speed limit is 10 mph. Drifting and burnouts are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in removal from the event.
Before entering the pit lane, remove all loose items from your vehicle, including door pockets, seats, the glove box, ashtray, armrest, trunk, and sun visor area. Remove hubcaps, lug nut covers, floor mats, and any steering wheel lock devices.
Car numbers must be securely affixed to the rear door, quarter windows, or C-pillar and must be clearly visible.
Alcohol is not permitted on track property during the event.
Smoking is prohibited in the hot pit area, near fuel pumps, and inside any buildings including the tech shed and classrooms.
Drivers are covered only by their own personal insurance. Please verify your coverage with your provider prior to the event.
Both front windows must remain fully down during all track sessions.
Waste fluids (oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, etc.) must be disposed of in the designated collection drums located in the paddock. Improper disposal may result in ejection from the facility and a fine.
Participants are responsible for removing their used tires, batteries, and any unwanted parts from the facility.
Bedding new brakes or testing vehicles on infield roads is strictly prohibited.
Fuel is available at many track facilities via credit or debit card. Not all pumps are attended, and cash may not be accepted.

Approximately 20–30 cars per session, depending on the track. SpeedSF intentionally limits run group sizes to reduce traffic and improve the on-track experience.

Passengers are permitted in all run groups except Novice. Passengers must be 18 or older. Instructors are the only exception to the Novice passenger restriction. Note that individual track policies may supersede SpeedSF's passenger policy.

All SpeedSF events have either a fire rescue unit or an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on standby. Trained corner marshals are stationed at blind corners throughout the track to assist participants as needed.

Drivers as young as 16 years of age are welcome. A Minor Waiver must be signed. A parent or guardian must be present at the event, or the minor waiver must be notarized in advance.

Convertibles are allowed only with proper rollover protection (factory or aftermarket roll bars).
NA/NB Miatas (1989–2005) must have approved roll bars.
Driver and passenger helmets must be below the windshield and roll bar height. -
Helmet must be SA2015+, M2015+, or FIA rated
Full-face helmets recommended
Cotton shirts required (long sleeve recommended)

Two drivers may share a vehicle provided each driver registers independently for separate run groups. Multiple drivers within the same run group are not permitted to share a car.

Tow hooks are required. If your vehicle does not have one, please install an aftermarket unit or identify a suitable front tow point before the event. It is your responsibility to ensure that towing will not damage your vehicle. You will be held responsible for any damage resulting from towing.

Each session is 20 minutes in length. Most events include approximately 4 to 5 sessions per driver.

Yes. Motorsport carries inherent risk, as do many other activities including highway driving. Accidents — including serious vehicle damage — can and do occur. Participants are encouraged to drive within their ability at all times.

Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times. Failure to keep your pet under control may result in ejection from the event.

Due to reliability and safety concerns, we do not permit 24 Hours of Lemons, ChumpCar, or similar project vehicles at our events. This includes cars with missing bumpers, windows, or body panels; non-OEM body parts that do not fit properly; significant body damage or unfinished primer; or any attached signage or artistic modifications.
